Monterrey
Monterrey is located on the desert area of northeast Mexico, very close to the Sierra Madre Mountains, which have a high range of approximately 915 meters above sea level.
Monterrey possesses a quite radical weather, since it can suddenly change from one moment to the other, be it in summer or winter. Nights can get cold in winter and Monterrey summers are very hot. Rain comes on the summer months, mainly from the last days of June until September. Rain normally lasts a couple of hours, after that the sun comes up again and the air is cleaner. From November through June it is, often, the driest season.
