IstanbulIstanbul fascinates visitors from all over the globe with its interesting blend of oriental and occidental culture and the resulting resemblance. Istanbul is the only city located on two continents: Europe and Asia. Separated are these by the Bosporus, a strait connecting the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea, which is in turn a part of the Mediterranean. Another trait, the Golden Horn, splits the European part of the city of Istanbul into two parts, a northern and a southern part. The southern part accommodates old Istanbul.
