AthensSince the Olympic Games in 2004 Athens disposes of one of the best-developed and most modern subway networks of Europe. Trains depart and arrive on time and in very short intervals and the stations are more than clean. The Tram is similarly modern but does take significantly longer for same distances. In the centre tourists can easily outstrip everything afoot. Taxis are usually significantly cheaper than in Central Europe, you should however make sure the taximeter is switched on. | Actions:  |
